A portable galaxy built into a 16-foot trailer, SPACEBOX is a dynamic reflection of its environment when open, and an intimate immersive experience when closed.
In "Immersion Mode," visitors are guided into the space in complete darkness. Then, an adventurous soundscape unfolds as an infinite field of stars begins to awaken around them.
In "Stage Mode," SPACEBOX becomes an anchoring set piece for live performances, with live lighting effects .
SPACEBOX features built-in sound-responsive diffusion fixtures with exchangeable physical filters designed to switch between performance lighting and a soft gradient starfield.
SPACEBOX featured as an immersive installation at Seattle Design Festival's 2018 Block Party and anchored pop-up live band performances in various locations before retiring in 2020.
